Video tour: Luiz Camillo Osorio and Lucrécia Vinhaes present the exhibition “Instituto PIPA Collection: 15 Years…”

During the setup of the exhibition “Instituto PIPA Collection: 15 Years…”, we prepared exclusive content to present the show, which is on display until October 20 at Paço Imperial, Rio de Janeiro. Luiz Camillo Osorio, curator of Instituto PIPA, and Lucrécia Vinhaes, co-founder of Instituto PIPA, walk around Terreirinho showcasing works by some of the artists featured in the Instituto’s collection, established since 2010.



Osorio selected works donated and acquired by the Instituto over the 15 years of the collection. The exhibition includes about 10 pieces by Arjan MartinsBárbara WagnerBerna RealeCaduDenilson BaniwaÉder OliveiraPaulo NazarethRenata Lucas, and Virginia de Medeiros, which help narrate the story of contemporary Brazilian art in recent years, with languages and themes that symbolize and represent the recent trajectory of art in the country. The exhibition also features a record of the site-specific commission by Henrique Oliveira, created at Villa Aymoré in 2018.
